Workouts can begin again, Finally!

After some medical problems (nothing serious) and a bout with this flu the gym is calling. Looking forward to working out but will feel like starting all over again I fear. Almost two weeks off has left me feeling a little sluggish and in need of a but kicking at the gym. Will be interesting to see how body responds after the layoff. Back from working out and it was a little bit harder than I expected. My normal routine is to spend 30 minutes warming up on bike then move to stair stepper or eliptical but today there was only enough charge in this old body to make it 15 on bike and 30 on the free stepper. It will be better tomorrow for sure and each day after that will in turn be better. New goal is to keep calories under 1700 and expend 600 over the 90 minute workout.

HP 2505 Color LaserJet

  1. Just a hint if you are having problems printing with low cartridges. My printer was telling me to change my cyan cartridge and all I wanted to do was print in black. I searched through lot’s of information and finally found this solution on the HP forums someone named John doe the third gave these directions

1 Turn off printer

2 hold both arrow buttons down

3 turn on printer

4 wait for printer window to cycle through things until it stops at english

5 select yes for english then yes for country = USA

6 printer will restart

7 if you are low on any color at this point you can override the settings and tell the printer it is a non HP cartridge and you will be able to print again.

Both solutions will work. I would like to thank both of these people for helping me out with this problem.

I went looking for these answers so for now I could save 90 bucks for a color cartridge. I really need to buy a regular non color printer for office use since color is only used by kids for school projects and my wife sometimes for a work related thing.  Once again I am showing my frugality (is that a word?) in life. Don’t spend money where you don’t have to is my motto.

Out of Commission

For the last week I have not made it to work out at all. My daughter brought a cold home from her first week at school and we passed it around between the five of us. Tomorrow will be my first day back working out. I can feel myself falling back into old habits by not getting exercise. I am tired more often and don’t have the pep I should. Looking forward to getting back in the gym for good. While I have been taking the time off from the gym and working out I have tried to take that time and do more research on good eating habits. Setting a daily limit for myself of 2000 calories and eating the proper foods which means no processed foods. Cutting back somewhat on carbs and eating as little sugar as possible. Hope to have more to write tomorrow with some good news.
